George Bradfield is 14-years-old and his hobbies include murdering, time travelling and parkour. Only joshing, he's actually nuts about the Assassin's Creed series and we wanted to give him a forum to tell Ubisoft and the world what he, as an expert, wants to see in Assassin's Creed 3.

Desmond is the main character in the series, linking together all of the games to date, but the focus has always been on his ancestors. The storyline relies so heavily on Desmond’s part and yet we haven’t had any major missions played as Desmond. In fact, the missions we’ve had have been hugely disappointing. In the new game, I’d like to see a significant portion played as Desmond in the role of a modern-day assassin so that fans get a stronger link to the main character.
The addition of the 50/100% synch feature in Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood was a great idea because it added an extra challenge to my gameplay, but fulfilling these challenges has left me craving more objectives to fulfil. In Assassin’s Creed III I’d like there to be multiple objectives to fulfil for each mission, so hardcore fans like me can attempt to do the mission as an assassin would.
Having a good story made Assassin’s Creed popular, but like me, many fans discovered that the fun wears off after the story has finished. This is why I want post-story side missions that appear randomly throughout the game, like in Batman: Arkham City. This would add optional side missions that keep the game interesting and yield a small reward when completed to make it worthwhile.
The combat system in Assassin’s Creed isn’t the best. Basically, you mash the ‘x’ button and your assassin strings together multiple, flashy kills. This annoys me, because it doesn’t give any idea of the realism of combat. Killing just wouldn’t be that easy. With a new engine for AC3, I'd like to see some improvements. I think if you’re going to get flashy kills, you should have to string together button combos to show the complexity of the manoeuvre: the more difficult the combo, the flashier the kill. Also, I’d like to see Connor adapt to his situation, mixing offensive and defensive moves so that each gamer can create his own style.
I love the multiplayer. I think it’s underrated and shouldn’t be overlooked. There’s one bit that really annoys me though: the waiting. If I want to play with my fellow gamers online, I shouldn’t have to wait twenty minutes. If Ubisoft actually want people to use their online service, it has to be sorted. If they don’t, they're going to lose a lot of fans’ interest.
The story and multiplayer are both quite well-thought out, but the link between them is weak. Basically, the only similar points between the two are the classic assassin/templar battle, the maps and a few of the characters. Apart from that, they have nothing to do with each other. In AC3 I'd like to see a stronger link between them and one way could be the currency. If the currency was the same in both story mode and multiplayer, any money earned in one could be spent in another. This will allow each individual assassin to have more freedom with how they spend their money in-game.
