Halo 4 is due for release exclusively on the Xbox 360 on November 6, and we reckon it could well be the best Halo to date - here's why.

New trilogy

While we've had more than three Halo games, the core trilogy ended with Halo 3, with other games (Halo Reach and ODST) being placed around or within that timeline. Halo 4 is the start of something new that will continue from Halo 3 and marks the start of another trilogy.
