An SCEA employee has revealed that Sony has some "CRAZY good" promotions lined up for PlayStation Plus subscribers tomorrow, adding weight to the rumours that Sony could be about to announce additional features for its subscription service.

"Tempted to pack my retail PS3 as to enjoy tomorrow's CRAZY good PS Plus offerings," tweeted SCEA Business Development employee Shane Bettenhausen, before rounding off the tweet with the hashtag "‪#E3HYPETRAIN".‬

Sony's E3 press conference kicks off at 2am BST tonight. We'll likely find out a lot more about what Bettenhausen's talking about there.

Over the last week, it's been rumoured that Sony is set to announce brand new additions and features to its PlayStation Plus service during its E3 press conference tonight.

One such rumour is that a revamped PlayStation Plus will enable users to stream PlayStation 1 and 2 games via a cloud network to play on their PlayStation 3.
