Dead Island Riptide, the heavily rumoured sequel to the hit zombie game, has been announced as being in development by Techland.

Coming to PC and consoles, the new game will be detailed later this summer.

"Stock up on zombie survival guides, water, ammunition, and watch this space!" says the game's Facebook page.

It had been rumoured that Yager had been drafted in as the new developer of the Dead Island series.
